Onto the mainland and Beyond!!!!

 Heppy February!

We’re currently in Tamasopo, San Luis Potosí exploring the mystical lands of waterfalls in the Huasteca Potosina.

Here’s the recap for the month!

We made it to La Paz and stayed with Ernesto’s long lost uncle.

We parted ways with our bikes for the better part of a week to hitchhike back up north to see the whales near San Ignacio for Ernesto’s birthday.

We made some homies along the way who we camped and hung out with on our ride back to La Paz. We did a sweet hike up a canyon river bed.

Upon returning to La Paz we boarded the ferry to the mainland in Mazatlan.
We met some New Zealand homies who had been bikepacking since Alaska.

We took the scenic route up the Sierra Madre of Sinaloa and Durango, 27,000 feet of climbing over 4 days, it was a wild ride.

We hitchhiked to the city of Durango and afterwards pedaled the long way through dirt roads and farmlands to the Sierra de Organos National park in Zacatecas.

We decided to continue hitchhiking to make it to San Luis Potosí, so we rode with some nice truckers and stayed in the city of SLP with the homie Manuel.

Things got a little weird in San Luis Potosí

Here’s the video compilation for this past month!

Highlights of this month:
- Whales!!!
- Meeting some cool homies along the way
- Learning our first intense standing acrobatic pose
- Making this video for Annina’s birthday

- Visiting the National mask museum in San Luis Potosí
- The winding roads of the Sierra Madre
- The unending beauties of Puente de Dios: the golden, unfurling bridge of God.

Last month we received so many life updates to our email and it warmed our little hearts. We love hearing about your evolving dance through time. Hope to hear about how this new cycle around the sun is shaping up for you.

Much love,

Annina & Ernesto
